Meet the Artist
For a long time, I searched for the accurate description to my work. One of my former students
(I was a public school music teacher for 36+ years) told someone that "her pieces are a little rustic, yet a little refined."
I love that description ~ it's exactly the look and feel I am looking to impart in each piece. One of a kind. Artful. Unique. Not fussy, but fun and easy to wear. "Artsy" goods.
Revealing the magical interplay between metal and stone is like conducting a symphony - where to add light, shadow, color, space - add a little fire into the mix and voila! Earrings, bracelets, necklaces - they're all fun to create!
Vintage hymnal pages inspired another generation – choosing words from these well loved texts to create meaning and inspiration for another generation is a joy. Repurposing that which would otherwise be bound for a landfill. Giving new life to that which was held so dear in another time.
All of my creations are one-of-a-kind. I will be shipping you the exact item pictured and described. I do not make to order, and rarely accept special orders. Some pieces can however, be adjusted to fit, or ear wires adjusted (handmade ear wire exchanged for lever backs) - just ask. You can be assured that the item you see is the item you will receive! I want my customers to love their new piece!
