"That Tree" Necklace
Do you have "that tree" in your life? I've had several of them over the years. Right now "that tree" is the one in my backyard. But, there is "that tree" on the way north from here, towards the "big city," and there is "that tree" on the way south to our favorite place to eat fried fish in the summer.
You know the one. "That tree" kind of sits by itself, and has an interesting shape, it is silhouetted against the sky, just so. It makes you think back to climbing trees or playing hide and seek. And, the colors in the fall.... Well, don't even get me started on that.
"That Tree" necklaces are made with a shiny silver overlay bezel, which is trimmed out to highlight the picture of "that tree," which has been applied underneat a layer of jeweler's grade resin.
It is 1 1/4" in length. At the top, the width is 3/4". The silver has been given a light patina, so that it blends nicely with the color of that tree. It will come with a 20" sterling silver neck chain ~ my favorite neck chain of them all, because it's a timeless classic.
These necklaces are made by hand, one at a time, in my northern Michigan studio. And yes, I can just see the branches of my own "that tree" from the window of my studio desk....
I hope you love your new necklace.
Caring for your new jewelry is easy. The best way to care for it, is to wear it!! Jewelry that is worn tarnishes more slowly, so wear and enjoy.
Should you notice a bit of tarnish, you may use a Sunshine Cloth or any other dry polish cloths. Please avoid any pastes or liquids when polishing. If you have a piece with stones, please note that anything liquid or paste may harm the stones or discolor them.
If trying to sanitize, sterling silver jewelry may be wiped gently with alcohol. Avoid rubbing alcohol on the stones - I can't guarantee the results. Please also avoid using bleach on sterling silver, as it will turn black. If it does, a polish with a Sunshine cloth will have it good as new!!
