Sapphire & Silver "Ear Candy" Earrings

Sapphire & Silver "Ear Candy" Earrings

These one of a kind earrings are a part of my "Ear Candy" collection, featuring colorful rose cut stones in classic but swingy settings.

This pair of earrings features green sapphire rose cut stones and sterling silver.  The earring backs are cut out to allow a bit of light to play through the stones and brighten them a bit.   You will love to see how the light shies through these big sapphire stones!

There are freely-swinging sterling silver leaf shaped bits hanging below the earrings.  They will move with you as you turn your head ~ and with earrings as unique as these, you'll want to turn your head often so everyone can see!  They have been hand hammered to have a bit of texture, and to catch the light even just a little bit more!  I just love the way they move!

Patina was applied to the silver, then gently brushed and rubbed away to leave a bit of a matte finish, but bring out the silver shine.  These are truly unique and one-of-a-kind earrings!

The earrings hang about 2" total from the earlobe.  They are featherweight, not heavy at all.  They hang from my signature hand made earwires with tiny balls added for one extra special touch.

All of my jewelry comes packaged in a handmade cloth pouch, suitable for gifting.  I hope you truly love your new piece!

  • Care Instructions

Caring for your new jewelry is easy.  The best way to care for it, is to wear it!!  Jewelry that is worn tarnishes more slowly, so wear and enjoy.

Should you notice a bit of tarnish, you may use a Sunshine Cloth or any other dry polish cloths.  Please avoid any pastes or liquids when polishing.  If you have a piece with stones, please note that anything liquid or paste may harm the stones or discolor them.

If trying to sanitize, sterling silver jewelry may be wiped gently with alcohol.  Avoid rubbing any alcohol on the stones - I can't guarantee the results.  Please also avoid using bleach on sterling silver, as it will turn black.  If it does, a polish with a Sunshine cloth will have it good as new!!
