My Favorite Earrings - dainty version

My Favorite Earrings - dainty version

$36.00Price

These are my favorite earrings, and I wear them almost every day. They go with everything, and look dressed up when I choose to do so, and go great with my jeans and a white long sleeve t-shirt (my favorite outfit!).

The disc of the earring is silver fused to copper - no two discs ever come out exactly the same - it's always fun to see the pattern that the molten silver makes after it is quenched. Sometimes the disc has golden overtones, sometimes more reddish, sometimes cool silver.

These are the "dainty" version of my favorite earrings - these discs are just about 1/2" in diameter and hang about 1 1/4" from the ear lobe.  Just a little smaller than the original, but just as fun & easy to wear.

I match discs for balance and color and then add a freshwater pearl  to each with a sterling silver wire. The whole package is then carefully draped from one of my hand forged ear wires, made of sterling silver.

Currently I have made these with only white, freshwater pearls.   I am always willing to look through my stock of pearls (have I mentioned how MUCH I love pearls?) and see if I have a different color if you would like one. Just ask!

All of my earrings are hand made by me in my northern Michigan studio, and come packaged in my signature cloth pouch, perfect for gifting or for traveling. I hope you love your new earrings!

  • Care Instructions

Caring for your new jewelry is easy.  The best way to care for it, is to wear it!!  Jewelry that is worn tarnishes more slowly, so wear and enjoy.

Should you notice a bit of tarnish, you may use a Sunshine Cloth or any other dry polish cloths.  Please avoid any pastes or liquids when polishing.  If you have a piece with stones, please note that anything liquid or paste may harm the stones or discolor them.

If trying to sanitize, sterling silver jewelry may be wiped gently with alcohol.  Avoid rubbing alcohol on the stones - I can't guarantee the results.  Please also avoid using bleach on sterling silver, as it will turn black.  If it does, a polish with a Sunshine cloth will have it good as new!!
